A Proud Moment for BESS
We're incredibly proud to announce that Bailey Electrical & Security Services (BESS) has been named WA New or Emerging Business of the Year at the 2026 Master Electricians Australia Excellence Awards.
Receiving this recognition just over two years after establishing our business is something we're immensely proud of. It's a reflection of the dedication of our team, the trust of our customers and the relationships we've built along the way.
From Humble Beginnings to an Award-Winning Perth Business
BESS was established in 2024 by Ethan and Ashleigh Bailey, beginning as a small, family-owned electrical business in Canning Vale.
What started with Ethan independently sourcing electrical jobs and building relationships with local customers quickly developed into something much bigger.
Through word of mouth, repeat business and a commitment to quality workmanship, demand continued to grow.
Our first apprentice joined the business, followed by more electricians, apprentices and dedicated office support as we expanded our capabilities.
Today, based in Bedfordale, BESS services residential, commercial and industrial customers across Perth and regional Western Australia.
From our beginnings in Canning Vale to establishing our base in Bedfordale, our focus has remained the same: reliable workmanship, genuine customer service and building relationships that last.
Growing Our Capabilities
Over the past two years, we've had the opportunity to work across a diverse range of electrical projects, from everyday residential maintenance to complex commercial and industrial installations.
Our team has supported organisations including LMS Energy, Racing and Wagering WA, WA Limestone, Ray White, MaxPro Real Estate and Thornlie Senior High School.
Some of our proudest projects have involved industrial infrastructure and commissioning support for LMS Energy, electrical and generator infrastructure for a Perth Festival activation, and electrical works supporting the iPlex rectification program.
These opportunities have allowed us to develop our technical capabilities while maintaining the personalised service that has always been central to BESS.
